The Hoosiers are The National Champs!

This was a storybook ending to a storybook season for the Indiana Hoosiers who goes 16 – 0 & win the first National Championship in the University history. It was a tremendous game by 2 great teams that lived up to the hype. Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman Trophy Winner, that played like a Heisman Trophy Winner. He made one of the great TD runs in Playoff History.

Miami out gained Indiana but that’s NOT a Meaningful Stat. The Stats that Indiana Won were Meaningful:

  1. They scored 25+ Points (27) The Canes did not, they scored 21
  2. IU scored a Non-Offensive TD

Congrats to Curt Cignetti & The Indiana Hoosiers on teaching us all “Anything can happen if you work hard enough”.
