After the 1st round, the College Football Playoffs have been very entertaining. Miami & Indiana clearly are the two teams that belong in the Championship Game. Here are some thoughts..

1. The more physical team has won every playoff game. These teams are very physical but I give a slight edge to the Hoosiers.
2. Both teams play great defense. Miami uses its offense to control the clock to help its defense. I believe IU might have more depth on their D.
3. I definitely favor Mendoza over Beck at the all important Quarterback position. The QB position is the key to a Team’s Offense. The Hoosiers have a big edge here. Beck has trouble throwing the ball downfield. Mendoza has all throws in his bag.
4. The Canes have Malachi Toney, a true Freshman who is a tremendous threat. He opens up the entire Offense. Cignetti might play a “Box & 1” on this guy. He’s the guy the Hoosiers must stop. The Hoosiers skill is very underrated. They have excellent depth at the skill positions. They run great routes &/Mendoza can get them the rock.
5. Two outstanding Coaches that know what their team must do to win but I favor The Hoosiers to bring home the Championship
