While I was at Washburn University, I had the privilege of sitting next to legendary women’s basketball coach, Pat Summitt. Billie Jean Moore, the 1st US Olympic Women’s Basketball Coach was being honored. Pat played on that Olympic team & spoke at the event. I picked up a lot of valuable tips from this Superstar coach. One was “make your team practice uphill”. in other words, put your team in a disadvantaged position in practice.
