This football game was one of the most unique that ever got to a gridiron. It was played in Japan (where American Football is very popular) and was a Japanese All Star team vs The University of Notre Dame Alumni Football coached  by Lou Holtz. Obviously, The Fighting Irish were at a huge disadvantage, but Coach Holtz bought back Quarterback Tony Rice to lead the Irish.
