Strategic Flexibility: The Core Principle of The Triple Gun

One one play changes into another play AFTER the ball is snapped – the based on the reaction of the Defense, This is Strategic Flexibility. The Triple Option was a clear example of Strategic Flexibility. The play was either a dive, keep or pitch based on the defense.

I started out as a Triple Option Coach but the more I studied the game, I decided to develop an entire offense based on Strategic Flexibility. It would be like “Jazz Football” – freedom within a structure. So every play in The Triple had the Caio’s morphing into a completely new play based on the Defense AFTER the snap!

No guessing. No audibles & better play calling. Every run has a built-in pass & every pass has a built-in run. Here’s a short video explaining Strategic Flexibility further & of course it’s explained in detail in  Tony DeMeo’s Triple Gun Offense: An Evolution of Option Football.
