Last night was the National Championship Game between two SEC teams Alabama & Georgia. Two excellent coaches, Nick Saban, the teacher & Kirby Smart the Student.

The Dawgs 33. – 18 over Bama for National Championship!  UGA did a great job of staying close & then pulling it out at the end. UGA had the right strategy to beat Bama. UGA won the Meaningful Stat Battle- they got 25+ points (33) – Bama didn’t (18)  UGA got a Non Offensive TD. The Dawgs had a +1 Turnover Margin but also blocked a FG which is similar to a turnover.

Kudos to Stetson Bennett, the UGA walk-on QB who bounced back after a critical fumble to lead the Dawgs to the victory with a great drive to retake the lead.
