My Take on The Super Bowl

Seattle 29 – Patriots 13. The Seahawks are Super Bowl Champions & this was a lesson in Meaningful Stats. The total offense stats were almost even but Total Offense is NOT a Meaningful Stat.

MEANINGFUL STATS

  1. Score 25+ Points-  Seattle scored 29
  2. Hold Opponent to 16 Points or less – Seattle held Pats to 13
  3. Score a Non- Offensive TD – Seattle had a Pick 6
  4. Have a +2 Turnover Margin – Seattle had a +3 Turnover Margin

A Meaningful Stat Grand Slam – Not Flashy but Effective
