In the mid 80s I used to work the Contact Football Camp in Westminster Maryland. Because of the proximity to DC, many Redskins also worked the camp. Jeff Bostic, the Center & chief Hog, Dave Butz & Jeff Hayes to name a few. But the one guy they LOVED & had numerous stories about was John Riggins. The thing the ‘Skins all said: In a big game if Riggo was playing we were going to win. No one was better when it was a big game – period. I never met “Riggo” but he was Inspirational.
