Red Blaik is almost forgotten Hall of Fame College Football coach but he was a brilliant teacher of the game. One of his assistant coaches that went on to be one on if not the greatest football coach of all time was Vince Lombardi. Lombardi gave much of the credit for his success to Coach Blaik.
