This is a simple tweak to the Vertical Game off the Zone Read. In this Clip we are in Empty BUT we still have a run threat from Quarterback Draws to freeze the LBs. If a LB blitz’s like in this clip the QB can find a Vert Route. VS 6 man rush he has to signal FLASH. In this case he hit a Vert for a big play. What magnifies the problems for the Defense is the fact that we use the same personnel for all our formations with detached receivers.
