Gene Hackman was clearly one of the greatest actors of our time. He passed a way last week but is stellar legacy will live on. The character that he brought to life for me was his iconic performance of “Washed Up” basketball coach, Norman Dale. Norman Dale’s turnaround of Hickory HS was a lesson for every coach. Fundamentals win games regardless of the sport. The ability to “Stay on the Roller Coaster” is something every coach must embrace.  Here’s some leadership from Norman Dale
